§ 6-53. Bitches in heat.

It shall be the duty of the owner, or any person having the control of any bitch to securely confine her and keep her concealed from view while she is in heat or proud. It shall be the duty of any police officer or town employee to capture and confine, if possible, any such bitch found running at large in any street or public place in the town.
