§ 2-23. Council composition; terms.

(a)

The council shall be composed of a mayor and four members, all of whom shall be residents and qualified electors of the municipality.

(b)

The terms of office for mayor and members of the council shall be for staggered terms of four years, commencing the first Tuesday after the first Monday in April of the year of which they are elected.
